Three things I would like to ask my interviewee for my ethnographic report.

1. I would like to know how he got his start in the entertainment writing bussiness, what were some of the challenges he faced as his career progressed, and if he were to advise somebody going into that certain field of work, what advise would he have for an aspiring writer.

-I think that question is very important to my interview because it really gets to the heart of writing. Every writer has started some way or another, they all have different views on how to write, getting to know what motivates them will help you understand their work and their writing process.

2. Second, I want to ask about his writing process. What does he start his work out with, does he brainstorm, free write, research topics. Also I want to know how he pieces his works together and if he has examples of pieces that didn't work for one project but he went back and used them for another.

-As a writer myself, recycling older material and making it better is half the battle. I want to see what a professional writers view on this practice is.

3. A third question I would like to know is how often does he sit down and write.

-I think that the most important part of being a writer is actually writing. There are so many people out there that say they are writers but never really write. In my opinion, in order to be a writer you need to work your craft almost every day. However, I do want to hear it from the horse's mouth. Not that I am interviewing a Horse, maybe next semester.
