One example of Rhetoric I notice in todays world is how newscasters on Television especially the Fox News Network like to bully opposing views. Perfect example is watch any show on that program, how is it set up? You have 3 extreme right wingers and 1 extreme leftist duke it out, and their goal is to make the leftist look incredible by attacking their views and making them defend it while building up their views with no criticism. I think that is the worst kind of journalism and gets nothing accomplished. In order for their to be an argument you have to let the other person express their sides instead of just blasting them from the get go. CNN is guilty of it too, but I guess I just hate the media, thats all I am trying to say.
